Privacy notice

Holdemhigh Ltd and Commercial Square Bonfire Society keep a register of members as a company limited by guarantee. We use your name, address, contact details and date of birth to run your membership (the lawful basis is our contract with you), and we email you news and events only if you have ticked the box to say so (consent, which you can withdraw at any time by emailing membership@c-s-b-s.co.uk).

We keep lapsed members on the register so they can rejoin without re-applying. Payments are processed by PayPal (online and card readers at events); we never see or store card details. Our data is held in the EU and backed up in encrypted form.

Juniors' details (name and date of birth) are given to us by a parent or guardian, who also gives the consent the form describes. Online renewals that are never paid for are deleted after seven days; membership records are kept while you are a member and for a period afterwards so you can rejoin (the committee is setting that period). Payment details are shared with PayPal only to take the payment.

You can ask for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them, or ask us to erase them, by emailing membership@c-s-b-s.co.uk.
